2.1 Characteristics and design of a supercapacitor

We're looking at the LSUC 1,000 F, 2.8 V supercapacitor from LS.

In this particular case of capacitor, the maximum stored energy is W s = 1.09 Wh, i.e. around 3,600 J for a mass of 245 g, which amounts to a mass stored energy of around 16,000 J/kg for the technology used.

However, according to the manufacturer's instructions, it is preferable for the supply voltage to vary only between U cn , nominal voltage, and U cn /2 , i.e. 1/4WsnWsWsn...
