3. Measures
These measurements relate to temperatures and useful electrical quantities (voltage, current, active power). They are often tricky, since they require sensors to be placed in the vicinity of the inductor. We'll confine ourselves here to specific measurements, pointing out the particularities and constraints associated with the presence of electromagnetic induction.

The temperature reached by the heated material is measured by thermocouples or metal resistance thermometers, in contact with the material, or by optical pyrometers, without contact.
