4.1 Power and sizing

The 2021 edition of standard NF C 14-100 retains the power ratings used in previous editions for residential premises and specifies the power ratings to be used for the preliminary design of installations in residential developments and office buildings. It also describes the power supply for recharging electric vehicles from the distribution network.

Unlike standard NF C 15-100, where calculations are based on the setting current of the protective device, connection installations are calculated for the maximum rating of this device.
