3. Performance improvement techniques

An analog simulator is used to characterize standard cells, to design more complex basic blocks and functionalities, and also to verify complete circuits and systems-on-a-chip. To improve productivity and enable analog simulator users to process ever larger and more complex circuits, simulator performance is a constant challenge for the teams in charge of their development.
