This chapter 2 , deals with infinites flat shielding models, with high electrical conductivity and finite thickness, submitted to a sine EM plane wave, falling under normal incidence and covering a wide frequency range.
Next sections will be devoted to compute the wave attenuations through a homogeneous, high conductive material, like a copper sheet. Attenuations will be expressed in terms of ratio between electric field (or magnetic field) at screen shadow, over the amplitude of incident field component.
