Even if it does not correspond to an optimization of the EMC (re)qualification process for a piece of equipment, carrying out (in the case of multisourcing) or repeating (in the case of component obsolescence) EMC tests is the most direct approach to determining whether the introduction of a new component reference will not involve unacceptable EMC regression.
