Self-heating effects

Heating of NTC ceramics by Joule effect (in the high-voltage zone of the I = f (V) curve), leading to a reduction in resistance and an increase in current.

Polycrystalline ceramic

Dense material obtained from a powder shaped and sintered at a temperature below its melting point.
