SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuits Emphasis)
Software developed at the University of California (Berkeley) from 1967 to 1990 under the guidance of Professor Ron Rohrer. This software has become the standard for analog simulators.
ITRS (International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors)
A set of documents issued by a representative group of semiconductor industry experts to serve as a roadmap for the entire industry.
IRDS (International Roadmad for Devices and Systems)
Replaces ITRS.
SoC (System On Chip)
Complete embedded system on a single chip. The system contains all the components needed to perform the expected function, including microprocessors, input/output interface peripherals, memory, etc....
