5. Conclusion

In this dossier, we present a new type of wireless network architecture, known as SCN networks, designed to meet the future demands of multimedia wireless communications. We have analyzed the ways in which these SCNs can provide high-speed coverage, while reducing budget and energy expenditure. Although SCNs are a promising concept, many technical challenges need to be resolved before they can become a reality. We hope that this dossier will serve as an impetus to explore new avenues of research in this field.
