Vincent CRIDLIG (PhD student at Université Henri-Poincaré, Nancy 1), Radu STATE (INRIA research fellow) and Olivier FESTOR (INRIA research director) work at LORIA (Laboratoire lorrain de recherche en informatique et ses applications) in the MADYNES (Management of dynamic networks ) team.

EnSuite is the first Open Source implementation of the Netconf network configuration protocol. This protocol is currently being standardized at the IETF by the world's leading telecoms groups, and represents a new XML-based approach to large-scale IP network configuration and monitoring. It is of particular interest to major Internet operators for the configuration of their routers, but is also aimed at network administrators in large companies. EnSuite is developed in Python under Linux, and is extensible at several levels of its architecture...
