16.1 Juniper Northstar
Northstar is Juniper's WAN SDN product. It is a PCE with a graphical interface for visualizing the network, LSPs and adding/modifying/deleting LSPs. A simulation module is also available (via a separate GUI). Northstar is based, among other things, on technology from Wandl (acquired by Juniper), well known in the world of traffic engineering. Northstar also offers multi-layer visualization.
