4. General presentation

CS WAVE consists of three main components:

• the welding platform (figure 3 ). This is the main tool for training learners in welding techniques. It also incorporates a pedagogical tool for error analysis;

• the control center (figure 4 ). This is the trainer's tool for monitoring and updating training courses. It also enables learners to consult their progress;

• the server (figure 5 ) manages communications between the various CS WAVE elements and archives data.
