2.1 Propagation channel characteristics
The main types of propagation channel for terrestrial TV and radio broadcasting are briefly specified below (table 2 ). Each requires a C/N (Carrier-to-Noise ratio), which reflects the extent to which the receiver is constrained (table 10 ).
