6. Digital moving images – Video and digital cinema
Digital moving images concern the fields of video (in particular SD, HD, UHD and 3D-s digital television) and digital cinema (D-Cinema). They are the subject of numerous international standards at different levels, which will be detailed in the following paragraphs.
6.1 Scanning parameters
Depending on the field, the parameters and their associated values for digital moving images in digital video [6] [7] or digital cinema [8] are varied but standardized (table 11 ).
