3. Passive trajectography using azimuth and frequency measurements

3.1 Position of the TPAF problem

As mentioned in § 1.3 of [TE 6 705] , a passive sensor can, in addition to azimuth measurements, deliver frequency measurements of one or more sinusoidal signals emitted by the source. These are subject to the Doppler effect, which depends on the relative motion of the carrier/source.
