6. Digital signal shaping and processing

The LRAN signal is the sum of a useful lidar signal L,n (r, λ L ) due to the backscattered laser light and a spurious signalR n L ) due to the scene background. An offset voltage dec (off-set) is added to register negative noise values.

After detection and analog-to-digital conversion, the total signal per digital sample (or bin) is :
