2. Machine architecture
The main components of the Java machine (figure 2 ) are the class loader, object memory, native libraries and the executive or virtual processor. This executive is itself made up of the instruction interpreter, the class code and data area and the environment area. These components can be implemented in hardware or software. The architecture developed here complements the virtual machine architecture proposed by Oracle .
