3.1 Introduction
Recommender systems are tools designed to automatically suggest useful elements to users . The nature of these items can vary widely (text documents, images, commercial products, etc.). The term "item" is used to denote all these elements.
The strategies used to identify information to recommend are numerous. The literature traditionally classifies them into three categories
