Semantic traffic routing policy :

A decision process for routing data packets implemented by an element of a semantic network. The decisions resulting from the execution of such a process reflect the interpretation and processing of information, which is potentially richer than a simple destination address and requires the formatting of metadata to contain it. This metadata is conveyed in packets, for example by means of a specific header.

Semantic network :

A network capable of implementing a set of differentiated traffic routing and routing policies, defined according to information characteristic of the applications and services that make use of it.
