5. Conclusion

Transposing an object model into a relational model is a constant problem in any business project. Comprehensive transposition tools are now available on the market, but are not yet sufficiently used due to the complexity of their implementation. Understanding the rules of transposition should make it easier to get to grips with such structure and class generation tools, which remain highly effective support tools.

Like the JPA standard implemented by Hibernate, other standards exist such as JDO (Java Data Object), which reinforces the approach of separating the "Processing" and "Data" layers, notably by extending the concept of persistence to non-relational structures such as XML structures.
