2. UML diagrams

UML offers 13 diagrams (there were 9 in version UML 1.X): Classes, Components, Object, Structure, Composite, Deployment, Package, Activity, Use Cases, States, Sequences, Interaction View, Communication and Time.

UML diagrams are generally presented in three groups (figure 2 ): Structure, Behavior and Interactions.
