6.1 Package concept

Let's return to our first example of a UML model, whose purpose was to describe notions relating to geographic objects (site, route, territory, region, etc.). This model includes the Coordonnee Geo class, which briefly describes the characteristics of geographic coordinates. However, this characterization may not be sufficient in a more general context than that of our example. To improve the rigor and precision of the model, we need to take into account certain concepts from the "profession" of geography. First of all, geography itself is based on a model of the Earth whose shape is approximated by an Ellipsoid.
