2. Syntax

JavaScript has a syntax similar to C but has a few unique features.

2.1 Instruction

Unlike C, the semicolon that marks the end of an instruction is optional: an end of line can therefore mean the end of an instruction. Any instruction written on more than one line (figure 1 a) can thus be misunderstood (figure 1 a) and may be interpreted by explicitly marking the ends of instructions with semicolons, as in figure
