10. Personal firewalls

Personal firewalls meet the need for companies to manage the security of their laptops as carefully as they manage the security of their fixed machines on their private network. In fact, unprotected computers are particularly critical for the company: they can pick up viruses or even Trojans (unwanted programs which, once installed on a system, run automatically without any control on the part of the user) by downloading files or games from the Internet. Once back on the company site, the computer risks infecting fixed workstations in the event of a virus, or facilitating intrusion into the company network if, for example, the Trojan horse initiates a communication channel with an external terminal, enabling an attacker to access sensitive terminals or servers and collect sensitive information.
