Implementing a portable virtual office on a USB key

The concept of a virtual office on a USB key is to be able to take your favorite software with you on an inexpensive, easily transportable device, so that you can find all your personal data, favorites and e-mails, whatever computer you're connected to.

For the sake of simplicity, and to make this dossier accessible to a security-conscious but uninformed public, we'll be looking at the problems of virtual desktops on USB sticks in Microsoft Windows environments.
