2. A few words on the technical side

We won't dwell on the purely technical aspects, which are the subject of other articles in the treatise on Information Systems Security, but simply highlight the following concepts.

2.1 Causes of information security incidents

When we look at the origins of security incidents within a company, we see that the majority are still of internal origin, and that for attacks of external origin, the main vulnerabilities used are :

  • insufficiently aware employees clicking on malicious links (e-mails, SMS), thus opening the door to external intrusions;
