3. Implementation – Applications

The processes can be implemented with existing concrete manufacturing equipment. The equipment for storing and dosing Portland or aluminous cement is replaced by a tank and dosing pump for sodium hydroxide solution in the case of soda-lime-silica concretes. In the case of alkaline silicoaluminous concretes, a tank and dosing pump for sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate may be required.

Sodium aluminosilicate concrete formulations call for steaming.

3.1 Concrete for oil wells

These concretes need to withstand high temperatures 80 °C and corrosive agents such as CO 2 for example
