1. Process technologies

The spray-drying process uses a number of specific technologies corresponding to the successive stages encountered . These include :

• initial fluid spray ;

• bringing the droplets formed into contact with the drying gas;

• Drying ;

• recovery of the solid formed.

Auxiliary elements are also present to meet specific needs (pumps, fans, heaters, etc.), but they are not specific to the spray-drying process.
