5.1 Examples of results on paints and varnishes

R&D has highlighted waterborne anti-graffiti polyurethane basecoat and varnish systems. These systems deliver excellent results in terms of outdoor durability and anti-graffiti properties. They are applied to a wide range of railway equipment in France and Europe. At SNCF, for example, all TGVs are treated with this type of paint during maintenance.
