NAGOYA Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS)

International agreement on biodiversity which aims to ensure the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the use of genetic resources of "plants, animals, bacteria or other organisms for commercial or research purposes.

Ultrasound assisted extraction (UAE)

Extraction technique using ultrasound, which creates cavitation bubbles to destroy the cell and extract the compounds of interest.
