6.1 Fine Fragrances
For many years now, the launch of a perfume has been the fruit of a long, carefully thought-out process involving numerous players. But don't be fooled into thinking that a perfume is the product of the perfumer's imagination: before this creative stage, its conception is the conclusion of a long process.
It would be complex to summarize the various stages involved in creating a fragrance, as there are several possible scenarios.
In most cases, the brand launching the perfume (fashion house, luxury brand, sports brand, personality...) does not create or manufacture the concentrate, but subcontracts this to specialized companies, generally unknown to the general public.
