Adhérence; adherence

The ability of a coating not to leave its support, i.e. the force required to separate them.

Membership; membership

All the physical and chemical phenomena that occur when two surfaces are brought into contact, creating mechanical resistance to their separation.

Adhesiveness

Ability to create interaction forces between two surfaces, to adhere.

Film-forming agent; agent filmogène

Species that forms a continuous film on the skin, hair or nails.

Agent thixotrope; thixotropic agent

A species that slows down sedimentation, giving the varnish a particular rheological behavior that also facilitates application.
