3.1 Moulding production

Suppositories can be manufactured using the molding technique on a laboratory scale with metal molds containing cells weighing 1 to 2 grams (figure 9 a), and on a pilot or industrial scale with preformed blisters or blisters formed extemporaneously on the production line (figure 9 b and 9 c ).
