1. Main ferromagnetic materials used in industry

In this article, we have grouped together the characteristics of materials used in industry.

These materials are divided into two product groups:

• hard magnetic materials for which the coercive field is: $H_c⩾1000\text{A/m}$ ;

• soft magnetic materials for which the coercive field is: H _c < 1,000 A /m.
