Montage en ligne ; In-line setup

Optical arrangement consisting in placing the light source and the sensor opposite each other.

Reconstruction numérique; Numerical or digital Reconstruction

A step in the digital processing of holograms, which consists in reconstructing the holographic objects.

Restitution; Reconstruction

Restitution (of a hologram) only concerns optical holography. It consists in re-illuminating the hologram with the illumination wave. Diffraction of the hologram is called "restitution" because it restores the object wave.

Propagator ; Propagateur

In holography, a propagator is a mathematical operator used to computationally simulate the propagation of light.
