2. On-line digital holography implementation

2.1 Mountings

The general principle of holography is based on the recording of interference between a reference wave and a wave diffracted by an object. These interferences, although only recorded in the form of intensity modulations (sensor sensitive only to intensity), contain information on the modulus and phase of the object wave. These physical quantities are important because they provide information on the position and shape of holographic objects. The object wave can then be reconstructed using a number of methods detailed in the 2.3
