4. Numerical example of collective production

The following example aims to optimize the DHW production system of a small apartment block with 12 F4 (or T4) units, each comprising 4 DHW appliances, i.e. a sink, a washbasin, a bidet and a bathtub.

Preparation is based on a dual-purpose system (fuel-fired boiler or heat network), with a coil water heater supplied with hot water at 90°C.

The cold water temperature is 10°C; the drawing temperature, assumed to be uniform for the various uses, is 37°C; the preparation temperature is 60°C.
