13.1 Inverters

The inverter delivers electrical power to the grid, P ond , which is the output that the photovoltaic system will be able to produce.

This power depends on the following parameters:

  • source power, i.e. the MPPT power of the connected modules (sensors), calculated as a function of the sensors and environmental conditions (weather and masks);

  • AC power rating (on the AC side) of the inverter ;

  • the inverter efficiency curve.
