Biomedical applications are probably the most numerous and these alloys are the most widely used:

• exploiting superelasticity :

  • odontological applications (dental burs, dental arches, etc.),

  • surgical instruments (guide wire or endoscope...) ;

• simple memory effect :

  • catheter,

  • staple for bone fracture consolidation...
