There are a wide variety of applications for PGMs, but the automotive sector remains the one with the most market opportunities: today, needs are driven by catalytic converters; tomorrow, with the popularity of electric and hybrid vehicles, fuel cells will become more widespread, and new needs for precious metals can be expected.
