The choice of steel cladding will depend on the application's specifications, the final properties required and the customer's installation process.

• The selection criteria are numerous, both in terms of :

  • desired strengths (shear, bending, impact, compression, peeling, etc.) ;

  • operating atmospheres (temperature and media: neutral, humid, chloride, nitride, sulfide, mixed, etc.) ;

  • the desired appearance (visible part or not).

  It is also essential to take into account the processing method used when making the sandwich panel (profiling, stamping, folding), or at the customer's premises (shaping, assembly method: clinching, gluing, welding, brazing..., painting: powder, liquid; baking method...)....
