4.1 Direct casting through filter sleeves
In parallel to the use of in-mold filters in filling systems, sometimes referred to as "in-line filtration", there is direct casting through sleeve filters. These are used to eliminate the need for an etching system. They act as a feeder, pouring device and filter all in one.
