2. Characteristic defects in castings

Despite the various checks carried out at each stage of the casting process, defects can sometimes occur. The causes are generally fortuitous and their origins diverse. During the industrial production process, it is not always possible to constantly monitor the progress of each operation, and this can be the source of defects.
