Alloy class

Group of alloys with similar microstructural characteristics and properties.

De-waxing

Process for removing all traces of residual wax from parts manufactured by lost-wax casting.

Hot die forging; hot dies forging

A technique in which dies are preheated to limit temperature and press behavior heterogeneity between the surface and core of a titanium part.

Globulisation ; globulization

Phenomenon that leads to a particle of phase α with a high form factor, to reduce the latter and bring the particle into an equiaxed form.

Transus; transus

Temperature limiting the existence of two phases.
