The various methods for determining crystallographic textures can be classified into two distinct categories:
polycrystalline diffraction methods ;
individual guidance methods.
In this article, we focus on polycrystalline diffraction methods, using X-ray diffraction, synchrotron radiation and neutron diffraction.
The individual orientation methods studied mainly in the context of electron diffraction
