2. Industrial processes

The industrial methods used to produce the metal bond are described elsewhere in this collection, and we refer the reader to these sections. In this section, we will confine ourselves to data of interest to the metallurgist, following the classification of welding processes that results from an analysis of the conditions of installation of the metal bond (and without weighting the volume of the text according to the economic weight of each process!)

this presentation could follow the nomenclature of welding processes published by the IIS under reference IIS / IIW-137-64 (this document replaced the document referenced IIS / IIW-80-61), but this was established according to the energy sources used, which does not allow metallurgical phenomena to be logically taken into account.
