6. Conclusion

Anodizing aluminum and its alloys offers a wide range of possibilities in terms of the properties required for use. It often involves a compromise between the metal's intrinsic characteristics, such as its mechanical properties, and its suitability for anodic oxidation. It is advisable to take this parameter into account right from the design stage, particularly when choosing the alloy.
