10. Other plastic metallization processes
Research into the metallization of plastics such as ABS, or more recent plastics such as polyamides, is in full swing. The aim is to develop shorter, more efficient treatment ranges that are less harmful to the environment and to the safety of operators. Most of these processes (figure 22 ) give good results in the laboratory. Only a few have been implemented on industrial pilot lines.
