A paint is a complex composition, usually liquid, intended to be applied in thin coats to surfaces where it dries.
Paint is used for both protection and decoration. The protective function is more important on the outside, while the decorative aspect attracts more attention on the inside.

Complex composition
Paint is made up of three essential elements: binders, pigments and solvents, to which are added auxiliary products capable of providing the film (dry film) with additional specific qualities. Solvents or thinners are designed to evaporate, leaving a film on the substrate, known as dry extract.
