1.1 Specifications for polymer-coated steels

The roll-coating process for solvent-based paints has established itself as the most universal technology for depositing organic coatings of less than 35 µm at speeds of over 150 m/min. This technology enables rapid paint changes (color, gloss, type, thickness, etc.) and format (adapted to the width of the metal). It has proven its ability to evolve to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive market. The performance levels of pre-painted steels are extremely high (compromise between flexibility/surface roughness/mechanical properties), both for :
